Named as one of the most intense national competitions yet, HSBC Case Competition returns. This year, over 150 teams all across Thailand applied, and with more than two weeks of intense competition, two BBA Chula teams were selected as the top 12 semi-finalists: Junior Advisory and Treasured Consulting. Both teams had to crack a 2.5 hour case and delivered solutions on a nontraditional method of transparent sheets. With good news, Junior Advisory was able to advance to the Final Round, and finally won the first-runner up title.

We, Junior Advisory, feel that this is a totally new experience in terms of the time constraint and the delivery style and here are some of our thoughts:

“We were still asking ourselves whether we would even make it through the first round. Looking at it now, I’m so happy all of us trusted each other and gave our best.”

Naparoek Chantawasinkul (Year 3, Finance Major)

“By far the most prestigious achievement in the field of case.”

Romyanetr Sirivejabandhu (Year 3, IB Major)

“One of the most memorable journey I have ever experienced.”

Piyapat Attanatkun (Year 3, IB Major)

“Fun event. Fun team.”

Nathapong Pipoppinyo (Year 3, Accounting Major)

We would also like to acknowledge Treasured Consulting. Having made it this far as only sophomores is something to be recognized:

Bunchana Sawattananond (Accounting, Year 2)
Chidchanog Chidchanognarth (Accounting, Year 2)
Natnicha Laodara (Accounting, Year 2)
Paweenorn Pleumpanupat (Finance, Year 2)

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank Ajarn Kritinee for her continuous support for both teams. Her insightful knowledge has definitely saved us a lot in Q&A!
